Pumpstock is an annual outdoor music festival, produced by Pump House Concerts and the Orchard Street Pump House Association. It features American Roots Music (Americana) and is held at Bailey Park - 300 Bailey St, East Lansing, MI on the second Saturday in June.
Pumpstock 2013 will be on June 8th, from 2 pm to 8pm. The lineup will include The Crane Wives, Nathan Bell, Mike Mangione and the Union, the Potter's Field, and more! Once again, we'll have a second stage featuring local performers in between the main acts.
Pumpstock features an afternoon of GREAT Americana music, food (Clint's Hot Dogs, the Purple Carrot Food Truck, Melting Moments, and more), fun (a trained parrot!), face painting, jugglers, etc. - it's a great family event.
Bring chairs and blankets - Pumpstock is outdoors, and there is a playground for the kids.
In case of rain, we'll move inside Bailey school to the gym.
We ask for a $10 donation, and after a few minor expenses all of the money goes to the artists.
Pumpstock 2010 featured Drew Nelson, Annie and Rod Capps, The Great American Songbook, and Phil Lee
Pumpstock 2011 featured Lindsay Lou and the Flatbellys, The Jill Jack Band, Levi Lowrey, and Sonia Leigh.

The name Back To The Roots, defines our desire to encourage people to return to a simple lifestyle by buying fair trade to not only obtain every day goods, but also taking care of our neighbors worldwide. With your help we will bind up the broken-hearted and set the captives free. This could mean anything from providing a home for vulnerable children in India, caring for a young girl rescued out of sex trafficking, providing jobs and training for people stateside and abroad, and as simple as helping to meet the needs of the hurting people in our local communities. No matter what the need is, we will strive, with your help, to take care of our hurting brothers and sisters across the globe.
